2012 Gosset Champagne Brut Grand Millesime
(France, Champagne)
$108
This is a dynamite bottle of bubbles from the epic 2012 vintage. Our tasting notes included adjectives such as elegant, pure, fresh, precision + texture, dynamic, age-worthy, gorgeous, to name a few. We are very impressed with this one.

2020 Domaines Ott Cotes de Provence Rose Chateau de Selle (France, Cotes de Provence)
$48

You've been waiting for this one since March. It's finally back in stock.
Thank you for your patience.

2019 Louis Michel Chablis
Grand Cru Les Clos
(France, Burgundy, Chablis)
$102
From the Burghound:
"The super-sleek, intense and overtly mineral-driven big-bodied flavors possess the refinement of the Vaudesir and the power of the Grenouilles while exhibiting the same excellent length as well as fine depth."
In other words this is one outstanding bottle of Chardonnay.
We enjoyed this with grilled oysters.

2020 Domaine de la Mordoree Lirac Blanc
Cuvee de la Reine des Bois
(France, Southern Rhone, Lirac)
$52
Mordoree's white wine is a curious blend of Grenache Blanc 35%, Clairette 25%, Viognier 10%, Roussanne 15%,
Marsanne 10%, and Picpoul 5%.
And wow does it work. First impressions: peach, apricot, pear, violet. There's a honeyed minerality at the core combined with a subtle richness and beautifully integrated acidity followed by a great, salty, lip-smacking finish.
Pairs well with fish, shellfish and Comte cheese. Also great as an aperitif.

2020 Kysela Picpoul de Pinet (France, Languedoc, Picpoul de Pinet)
$14.50
Known as "the Muscadet of the South" in France, this is to the Mediterranean coast of France what Albarino is to northwest Spain...the default wine for fresh shellfish & seafood.
Terrific value here.

2018 Alain Voge Cotes du Rhone Les Peyrouses
(France, Northern Rhone, Cotes du Rhone)
$34
Why is this Cotes du Rhone different than other Cotes du Rhone? A few reasons. It is 100% Syrah and in the Northern Rhone. Super rare. Vines are grown in Cornas and Saint-Peray.
Super bright red fruit with oodles of raspberry coulées, dark plum, black raspberry, and herbs de Provence spice all over. Well rounded, with supple tannins and nice pepper notes on the finish.

2019 Domaine des Roches Neuves Saumur-Champigny Terres Chaudes
(France, Loire Valley, Saumur-Champigny)
$44
We asked our Kermit Lynch rep. to select what she thought was the best Thierry Germain red wine from 2019.
What she sent us may well be his best red wine we've ever tried. This is world-class Cabernet Franc;
what we would label
"An Absolute Do Not Miss".

2019 Domaine Manoir du Carra Beaujolais-Villages
(France, Burgundy, Beaujolais)
$16.50
This is straight up great Bistro Beaujolais. The type of wine you crave while enjoying Steak Frites, Bouillabaisse, Boeuf bourguignon, Coq au vin, Lentil Salad with Pork...you get the idea. This wine defines savory goodness.

2020 Château de Pibarnon Bandol Rose
(France, Provence, Bandol)
$40
It's last call on what may be our most popular Rose of the season. Let's recap: gorgeous fruit, wonderul minerality, sensational finish. What's not to like?

Weingut Max Ferd. Richter Veldenzer Elisenberg Riesling Spätlese
(Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer)
$28.50
After reading the review for this wine in The Mosel Report we special ordered this Riesling for Renegade.
It has now arrived. Here is the Mosel Report Review:
-
"The 2020er Veldenzer Elisenberg Riesling Spatlese was made from fruit picked at 87 Oechsle and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (73 g/l). It offers a simply stunning nose made of white peach, apple, pear, passion fruit, and floral elements. The wine is beautifully juicy and animating on the palate and leaves a stunning feel of racy juicy fruits in the long finish. The aftertaste is subtly exotic, multi-layered, hugely animating, and persistent.
What a huge success!"
