Bereche Champagne Brut Reserve (France, Champagne) $68
One of the most sought after Champagne producers is Bereche. Their Brut Reserve has fine bubbles with notes of poached pear, brioche, citrus peel and oyster shell. Lovely wine!

Pierre Paillard Champagne Grand Cru Rose (France, Champagne) $65
Lots of red berry fruit and finesse. A Champagne that can be described as Glorious! Why not indulge and pair this with grilled lobster tails.

2018 Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault Le Limozin
(France, Burgundy, Cote de Beaune) $108
We are always in search of the next great Burgundy before their prices reach Coche Dury's staggering height. We've discovered a great Domaine here. Attention to detail is remarkable. Vineyards are farmed biodynamically producing an outstanding Chardonnay. Fresh, rich, mineral-ladden and vibrant. Bravo!
Here's a link with lots more info

2019 Francois Chidaine Gamey (France, Loire Valley, Touraine) $16
Ready for a new, chillable, savory red?
This is it! Wild and luscious with red and dark berry fruit. It's an uncomplicated wine great with burgers, salmon, mushroom risotto.

Canary Islands White & Red
from the winery Suertes del Marques on the island of Tenerife.
The white wine ($45) on the left is 100% Listan Blanco from well over 100 year old vines (maybe half the vineyard is approaching 200 years old). Sharp and electric, with a sensation of volcanic stone. A beautifully textured wine that's more about soil than fruit.
The red ($26), from 100% Listan Negro, is wildly mineral-driven with a glorious funk about it. Think George Clinton. Fabulous juice.

2018 Giuseppe e Figlio Mascarello Nebbiolo (Italy, Piedmont) $56
A crushing new vintage for this producer. It's an instant classic. Decant for sure, but this is utterly enjoyable from a warmer than normal vintage. Braised rabbit, skewered lamb, roasted carrots with farro. The pairings are endless.

Krug Champagne Brut Grande Cuvee (France, Champagne)
Krug is always exciting, especially when the price has dropped!
375ml are now $72 (reg: 99)
and
750ml are $152 (reg: 215)
In stock and ready for pick up
or delivery!

2019 G.B. Burlotto Verduno Pelaverga (Italy, Piedmont) $26
We wait, and we wait, and by September we are holding our breath for the arrival of this wine, this 100% Pelaverga from Piedmont.
Why...
The best expression of this grape is from Burlotto. A lighter, savory, intensely addicting wine.
If you've read the Parker review please ignore the comments, "chocolate and even vodka-like aromas from the deep inner territory of Russia."
We think they were drinking before they were tasting.
This wine is more about elegant red fruit and nectarine with hints of cinnamon and blood orange. It's genius.

2018 Pavese Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle
(Italy, Valle d'Aosta) $36
Another grape that's rarely seen: Prie Blanc (on pre-phylloxera root stock).
From the highest vineyard site in all of Europe: stunning mountain wildflowers, rocky minerality and great, tingling acidity... all from this indigenous grape, Prié Blanc. We love this wine and you will too.

2017 Ampeleia Kepos (Italy, Tuscany) $26
50% Alicante Nero (aka Grenache), 30% Mourvedre, 20% Carignano—   sourced from vineyards close to the sea, in Ampeleia di Sotto, where the Mediterranean scrub dominates the landscape and permeates the air with its fragrances. Blackberry & cherry notes, iron and earth. A wonderful wine from famed winemaker Elisabetta Foradori and two of her friends.

2016 Foradori Granato (Italy, Alto Adige, Dolomitiv IGT) $72
Speaking of Elisabetta here we have her flagship wine, the famous 100% Teroldego 'Granato'. A 98 point biodynamically grown and Demeter certified wine that has phenomenal notes of black and blue berries, currants, thyme, graphite, violets, and incense. Tremendous!

We've restocked on one of the best Rose of the year, Clos Cibonne Rose, and also on their delicious red wine also from 100% Tibouren.

Stop by this week and stock up.
2018 Domaine Jean Vullien Altesse (France, Savoie) $18.50
Altesse is the varietal grown in Savoie in the French alps. A mildly exotic, elegant and tasty wine with intriguing complexity and a long finish. A great introduction to this rarely seen grape.
2019 Antonelli San Marco Trebbiano (Italy, Umbria) $22
When the 2018 sold out there were tears of disappointment. We've been holding our collective breath these last 8 months hoping the new vintage would shine as bright.
The verdict is in and Antonelli has done it again and perhaps even better!
Give this a few moments to open up then watch out. A wine of pure enjoyment.

2018 Elena Walch Pinot Bianco Kristallberg Altenburg
(Italy, Alto Adige) $30
What's not to love about this single-vineyard Pinot Bianco.
A wine of great minerality. Clear, fresh straw yellow, a bouquet of fresh pears and white stonefruits, as well as spicy notes with green walnuts and smoky, minerally aromas in the background. Elegant on the palate, with a juicy freshness, youthful vitality and stirring acidity.
