The Alto-Adige Six-Pack:
Alto Adige is situated in the very north of Italy bordering Austria and Switzerland. The area is famous for its apple production but really well known for their wines. The 6-pack we put together represents some fine examples of how good the quality can be from this corner of Italy.

2018 Terlan Pinot Bianco
Loaded with character and personality. Fantastic as a sunset wine but shines when paired with food.
Fried chicken, roasted halibut, even...dare we say it...avocado toast.
-
2017 Castelfeder Pinot Grigio '15'
To enter into the world of Castelfeder is to soar across an unspoken threshold into the lush valleys of the high Adige River. This is a lush, lovely Pinot Grigio that is (probably) like no other PG you've experienced. Top Notch.
-
2018 Pojer e Sandri Nosiola
We came across the label first, behind the bar of a seafood restaurant in Venice. As we explored the wine cellar (with permission of course) we were struck by the bottle. The server promised it would be perfect with the seafood pasta dish.
To date it's one of our fastest selling Italian wines.
-
2018 Wilhelm Walch Pinot Noir 'Prendo'
From the Elena Walch winery, this is a tremendously elegant, savory, feisty Pinot Noir.
We love it. You'll love it.
-
2018 Elena Walch Schiava
The varietal, Schiava is a light to medium bodied wine native to the region. Spicy, with loads of minerality. It's kinda like Pinot Noir but not. It is its own magical thing.
-
2016 Foradori Teroldigo
How can one try to describe the wines of Elisabetta Foradori? It’s easy to say that, in this case, the grape does not fall far from the vine or the hand that cultivated it. Foradori - immediately striking, gracefully elegant, discerningly tasteful, soberly serious while at the same time wry and playful, and above all always generous and sincere. Wait, is that Elisabetta or her wines? In fact, it could easily be used to describe one or the other.
She's the master of the grape Teroldigo. Benchmark+

We know, we know. Another Six-Pack of Roses.
But the weather is warm and we have new ones to grace the shop.
A Tribute to Grace 2019 may be her best Rose yet.
Pence, always a winner, is fantastic this vintage.
Matthiason is not just "cool juice" but worthy indeed.
The Spanish Basque Rose is like eating a sparkling barely ripe watermelon.
Routas from Provence you've had but need again.
And Gamay Rose is something you just have to experience.
