-

2018 Filippo Grasso Etna Carrico 68.8
Filippo Grasso is a small family owned winery on the north side of Mount Etna in Sicily.
This blend of Carricante, Catarratto, Minello Bianca, Grecanico is lean and stuffed full of minerals with beautiful stone fruit notes. One of the best finds in years from this region.
-
2018 Bruno Giacosa Arneis
Perhaps the premier white wine of Piedmont, Italy and our all around top-selling Italian white wine.
We've mentioned how great this is with fresh butter noodles and pesto.
It's also fantastic on a hot afternoon with chartcuterie and cheese.
Call C'est Cheese - (805) 965-0318 - and they can put together a brilliant platter of prosciuttos and cheeses that pair wonderfully.
-
2018 Kuenhof Sylvaner
Kuenhof, owned by Peter and Brigitte Pliger, is one of the best white wine estates in Italy. Their steep, stony vineyards are in the part of the South Tyrol called the Val d'Isarco (or Eisacktal), not far from the border with Austria.
This highly underrated variety, Sylvaner, thrives in the vineyards at Kuenhof, leading to a wine full of yellow stone fruit, baking spice, and wet earth flavors. Lively and bright, the wine pairs gorgeously with salads and grilled fish. Outstanding!
-
2018 Mormoraia Vernaccia di San Gimignano Suavis
This is the bottle (from the varietal Vernaccia in Tuscany) that we are obsessed with currently. We've open more bottles of this wine in the last month than any other wine. It's a great sipping wine, perfect with cheese, roasted chicken, grilled fish, pie (ok...NOT pie). It's a versatile wonder of a wine and a must if you have not experienced it before.
-
2017 Samuel Billaud Chablis
You've had to have tasted this one. Anyone who has asked us for a Chardonnay, we've put a bottle of this in their hands. Delicious balance of suave fruit, minerality, acid, and a lingering finish.
-
2018 Paul Thomas Sancerre Chavignol Les Comtesses
Notes of jasmine and almond shine through a mineral driven, slightly creamy texture, with bright undertones of green apple and grapefruit. Classic Sancerre
-
These six great wines retail for $195 but through the weekend
are available for $165 while in stock.

Two of the most highly anticipated wines from Stolpman have arrived at Renegade this week:
2019 Stolpman Sangiovese 'Love You Bunches' Carbonic Style ($20)
&
2019 Stolpman Syrah 'So Hot' ($40)
-
Drink the Love You Bunches chilled for these hot days and evenings to come,
and the So Hot Syrah slightly chilled with whatever is on your grill.

NV Pol Roger Champagne Brut Reserve(France, Champagne)
$58.50
Why not begin with Champagne!
This classic Brut is gracious with fine bubbles perfect with Sunday brunch, or these days, Thursday brunch!
2018 Alois Lageder Pinot Grigio Terra Alpina (Italy, Alto Adige, Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT)
$15.50
With a winery founded in 1823 you'd think they would be pretty set in their ways. Not at this one. Their experimenting with varietals, planting higher, striving for greatness. Which brings us to this shinning example of Pinot Grigio. This is NOT a boring PG. It has depth and structure and attitude. Perfect with grilled pork chops.
2018 Marcel Lapierre Morgon Cuvee Marcel Lapierre
(France, Beaujolais, Morgon)
$56
Lapierre’s Morgon is one of the wine world’s most beloved bottles. The cuvée Marcel Lapierre ups the ante considerably.
The first vintage was around a decade ago and it wowed Beaujolais fans from the start.
Relying on hundred-year-old vines with a large portion coming from the Côte du Py, cuvée Marcel Lapierre represents a major step up from the regular bottling when it comes to power, complexity and length.
-
2018 Marcel Lapierre Morgon 'N'

(France, Beaujolais, Morgon)
$40
Marcel Lapierre has been pioneering the natural wine movement in Beaujolais since the 1980s.
‘Cuvée N’ is a no-sulfur added varietal Gamay from one of Morgon’s greatest estates. The wine is aromatic and lively, marked by flavors of cherries, cranberries, and rose petals. Fleshy and balanced, this easy-drinking yet serious wine is almost too easy to throw back!
