Arianna Occhipinti

From a famous wine family (her uncle, Giusto Occhipinti, is one of the founders of COS some 46 years ago), Arianna followed in his footsteps creating beautiful wines from her native Sicily. We have two of her reds to offer you today.
Enjoy!

Arianna Occhipinti Il Frappato
2025 Arianna Occhipinti SP68 Rosso
$36

Arianna Occhipinti is one of Sicily's most beloved and influential winemakers, and SP68 Rosso is her gateway red named for the country road that runs past her vineyards. It's the classic Vittoria blend of Frappato and Nero d'Avola, farmed organically in limestone and sand and made with native ferments and a hands-off touch. Pure, juicy and full of energy, it brings crunchy red fruit, a wild floral lift and just enough savory grip; transparent, electric and endlessly drinkable. Serve with a slight chill.

2024 Arianna Occhipinti Il Frappato
$54

Perhaps no other Sicilian producer is as heralded as Arianna Occhipinti. Her wines are endlessly captivating.

Bright notes of black raspberries, red cherry, and rose hints emerge with touches of white pepper in the background. The acid is energetic and moves along a gorgeous mineral-forward silky-juicy texture before a mild dusty tannic bite introduces a fruity, smoky, slightly salty and lengthy finish. Quite the achievement for a wine to be as quaffable or as cerebral as you want it to be.

There are also magnums of this one!
$110

We received very little of both wines so reach out if interested!
