a knock-Your-Socks-Off Barolo dinner on
Monday, April 27
Yes,
Giovanna is back in Santa Barbara and she readily accepted
our invitation to host another Brandini wine dinner at
Olio e Limone.
And
in more exciting news, she will be pouring, from the
"vintage of the century" her newly released 2021
Barolos including her single-vineyard wines from La
Morra, Annunziata, and Cerretta.
This
may be the only opportunity to taste (and purchase) these
beauties.
Located
in La Morra’s Borgata Brandini village, the Agricola
Brandini estate is relatively new in the scope of Piemonte
wineries – having been founded in the mid-90s. Their
production runs the gamut of Alba reds – Dolcetto D’Alba,
Barbera D’Alba, Langhe Rosso, Langhe Nebbiolo, and Barolo
– all farmed organically and sustainably.
The Bagnasco family, headed by Piero Bagnasco, runs the
estate, with his daughters, Giovanna and Serena, making
the wines.
Giovanna
will take us on a tour of her winery and her wines
over the course of the evening.
Dinner will be hosted by Olio e Limone in their
private dinning room on Monday, April 27.
An
outstanding four-course dinner designed by the dynamic
husabnd and wife duo at Olio e Limone will accompany the
wines.
The evening begins at 6:30pm.
